Stained glass has been around for a few millenia, maybe longer (who knew? I didn’t!)…

For me, I was drawn to it in my early 20’s, not as an artist, but purely for its beauty, the vibrancy of the colors, and the abstraction of the intended imagery. Or, maybe it was just all those adolescent years in church.

I discovered the artistry of glass in the early aughts, with an opportunity to learn from a master artist building a window for a local church in Hopkinton, MA. It’s a long story (and lots of therapy!), but I was hooked and began my journey to explore the medium and the craft.

A few of my first pieces were primitive – no doubt there. Good craftsmanship can take a lifetime. I continue to explore the medium.
