Inspired by the ocean and the forever rolling of the waves, I expect those drawn to the shore might feel a special something from the cresting and falling of waves on the beach, bringing with it a sense of calm persistence.

The piece is roughly 22″ in length and about 10″ in height. While it’s shown hanging, on request, this piece could easily be adapted to be free-standing, to enable it to be shown such as on a table top, a mantle, on a window sill (such as the corner of a transom window). The same piece is shown to the right hanging in a doorway (against a backdrop of Rhododendron bushes).

Below is a variant of that first piece, work in progress – same basic pattern, but with some color and shape variations – along with some of the assembly process.
