Probably the most fascinating aspect of my studio work is commission work – when someone has a specific piece or function they’re trying to find.

Commission projects appeal to my “goal orientation” and problem solving – combining the wants and vision of the commissioner into the aesthetic, the function, and other aspects of the piece to tickle the emotions, integrating into a piece to satisfy, delight, and enhance for the customer.

Each commission piece is unique, often reflecting the very specific needs, taste, and asthetic of the commissioner.
