One of the blessings of living in the Outer Cape is we can enjoy both sunrise AND sunset – and they’re only a few miles apart!

Recently, I had the good fortune to view a Nauset sunrise – for no other reason than we could. As typical for November on the cape, it was cold and windy, but the sunrise was spectacular – if even for a moment.

Perhaps it’s needless to say, but it sparked a glass idea – Nauset Morning. Something of a mashup between a Nauset sunrise and maybe a bit of tall pines one often sees in the mountains of New Hampshire.

Either way, it’s a fun piece, which for me, reminds me of the Cape’s natural beauty and brings up feelings of calm and serenity.
